Step One

Let's start by discussing the detail of your situation in a clear, calm, sensible, steady, relaxed Zoom or WhatsApp video conversation. No particular time limit if our discussion is going somewhere.

This first step is a crucially important counselling and advisory process in its own right.

Step Two

If we decide, after a certain amount of constructive preliminary talking, that there's a job to do and I'm the right man for it, we'll briskly draw up a detailed timed valued checklist of what needs to be done, agree terms and timing, and I'll get on with it. I work expeditiously, efficiently and productively. 

Where appropriate, we can proceed in stages. 

I'm available to work on a retainer in situations likely to take some time to resolve.

Fees

We discuss in detail, and then formally agree in writing, one fixed fee for the entirety of each assignment. Check out my general approach to fees and prices here. Every case is different and priced uniquely.

Expenses

The only expenses that might arise would be those of my transport to go and return from somewhere, and my accommodation to stay somewhere, on your work: a highly exceptional unavoidable in-person excursion for an irrefutable reason. I incur nothing and go nowhere unless explicitly costed, valued and formally agreed in detail in writing in advance.

by phone, Whatsapp, email and Zoom:-

• at least five days a week

• often at weekends

• 24-7 if the assignment requires it.

Transparent

• I will keep you informed in real time of everything I do for you

• We each keep in real time our own detailed up-to-date timed, costed log, ledger, diary and archive of exactly what's going on.

Confidential

Comprehensively confidential indefinitely:-

• everything we send each other

• everything I do, and everything I produce, in the course of our professional relationship.

Intelligible

Everything I do is unambiguous, frank, coherent, literate and pellucid. I don't speak 21st-century gibberish.
